Physio's based at Liskeard:
I gained my
Pilates qualifications with the APPI in 2007 and have previously taught Pilates
– up to 12 classes per week! I have found the Pilates hugely beneficial on a
personal level with my other passion, which is horse riding.
In addition
to my physiotherapy tools, I am also qualified in the use of acupuncture for
pain relief and musculoskeletal disorders, and I am a member of the Acupuncture
Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. I have had success treating a
variety of ailments with acupuncture from Sciatica to headaches, Arthritic
knees to children with chronic pain.
I have a
special interest in the treatment, management and prevention of sports injuries
and for five years I spent my Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as
Saturdays working with rugby players; Initially a local amateur team and then
in a semi-professional environment at Launceston (it’s not as glamorous as you
think!).
Or
